Meet Our AHA Instructors
Angie brings 7 years of nursing experience, working bedside in busy emergency departments throughout southeastern MI. Specifically certified in emergency nursing, Angie is well versed in treating patients with emergent, life-threatening conditions, including stroke, acute coronary syndromes, cardiopulmonary arrest and traumas. As a Lead Instructor with Resus Academy, Angie offers courses in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Bleeding Control.

Selena brings 3 years' experience in emergency nursing from a busy trauma center in southeastern MI. Before her nursing career Selena spent 5 years working as an Exercise Physiologist in cardiac rehab. During her time there Selena performed non-invasive cardiac diagnostics and developed a training program for interns specializing in EKG interpretation. As a Lead Instructor with Resus Academy, Selena offers courses in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Bleeding Control.
